Hans Zimmer joins the creators of "Euphoria" season 3.

While we'll have to wait a while for the premiere of new episodes of HBO's hit series, new details about the upcoming sequel are constantly emerging. A few months ago, it was revealed that Hollywood star Sharon Stone had joined the cast of "Euphoria" Season 3, and on Wednesday, the world was informed that legendary film composer Hans Zimmer would join the cast. The two-time Oscar winner emphasized that this collaboration is a "great honor."
In February, HBO announced that filming had begun on the highly anticipated third season of "Euphoria," one of the highest-rated television productions in recent years. At the time, we learned that series stars Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Colman Domingo, and Dominic Fike would be returning. New faces also joined the cast, including Marshawn Lynch, Rosalía, and one of Hollywood's most famous actresses, Sharon Stone. The series' showrunner, American director and screenwriter Sam Levinson, remains in charge of the project.
Hans Zimmer to Compose Music for Season 3 of "Euphoria"As it has now been revealed, legendary composer Hans Zimmer will join the team. However, this doesn't mean that Labrinth , who previously worked on the music for the record-breaking production, is parting ways with "Euphoria."
"It's a tremendous honor to join this incredible team led by the visionary Sam Levinson. Together, they have created an incredibly bold and moving series that means so much to viewers. Labrinth's music has shaped the series' identity, and I can't wait to add my own and help shape the new season ," the two-time Oscar winner said in a statement, as quoted by Variety.
Levinson revealed that while writing the script for the next installment of the HBO hit, he was accompanied by music composed by Zimmer.
"I wrote the material while listening to the soundtracks for 'Insterstellar' and 'True Romance.' So it was part of the creative DNA of this season from the very beginning. I'm really proud of the work Labrinth and I have done so far, and I'm thrilled that Hans will help us reach new heights," noted the showrunner.
"Euphoria" is set to return to the big screen next year. The exact premiere date for the new episodes has not yet been announced.
